My entrepreneurial life started early. I sold Amway as a teenager, waited tables in my family’s restaurant, and started a photography business before I ever left New York.
In my early twenties, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, one of the most expensive places to live in the country, as a single mom with no money, no family nearby, and no plan beyond building a better life. I had never been on an airplane. I bought a one-way ticket.
In 2011, I launched my first company, and within two years it reached six figures. Fifteen years later, I run two businesses I love and lead a team of 11 full-time team members.
I built my businesses around my family, not the other way around. When my oldest daughter was very sick, we spent months at the Ronald McDonald House while she was on the transplant unit.
Because of the life I had built, I could be there.
Today I have businesses I love, a life I’m proud of, and a sense of peace I once thought belonged to other people.
